How Air Conditioning Works by Mike Ermann (Part 1)

This video is a deep dive on how air conditioning works. You may need to watch it a few times, as I did, in order to "get" as much as possible from it. The video does a great job of covering the science and technology of how air conditioning works. The video covers a lot of great topics like, the heat of vaporization, evaporation/boiling, condensation, coolant, boiling point of a fluid is a function of pressure and the compression-refrigeration process.

Additional topics covered include DX systems, heat exchange coils, evaporator condenser and compressor. This video also covers expansion valves. This is one of the best videos I've ever seen when it comes to teaching how air conditioning works. You can really see how ingenious the invention of air conditioning was. It makes you wonder who invented air conditioning and how they figured it out. Don't miss this video!
