10,000 BTU Solar Window Unit Air Conditioner
This video is about a solar powered window air conditioner. The air conditioner is connected to three 180 watt solar panels. The array voltage is 96, amps are at 3.2, producing 315 watts. The output power is 309 watts. The air conditioner produces 10,000 BTU. The unit has a Tri-star charge controller. The unit also has a photovoltaic powered Lux sensor that lets the unit act like a hybrid car in that it can draw power from the grid when there is not enough sun light. The unit runs off of one battery that is kept charged. The end result is free air conditioning. Pretty amazing.

How to Install a Ductless Air Conditioning System
This is a great video about how to install a ductless air conditioning system. Don't worry is you don't know what a ductless air conditioning system is, the video covers that nicely. The full and proper name of a ductless air conditioning system is - ductless mini-split heat pump HVAC. The unit being installed in the video is a 13 SEER unit. It consists of an indoor air handler and an exterior condenser, hence the use of the word "split" in the name. These systems basically have three components, air handler, condenser and thermostat. The video shows how all three of these components are installed and tested. The video also gives you a list of the tools needed (phillips screw driver, 4 mm hex wrench, bubble level, tape measure and core drill + bits). If you are thinking about installing one of these units, you can learn a lot from this video.
